Public holidays are charged at the normal daily fee. Families will be eligible for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) for public holidays if they have not exceeded allowable yearly absences.
The reason why most childcare centres in Australia do this is because childcare centre employees are permanent and running costs are annualised (such as rent).
Centres rely on ongoing, daily fees in order to keep up with these costs, hence why they are unable to offer public holidays free of charge to parents.

We provide childcare for children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years
We are open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
We provide sheets, formula, nappies and wipes.
Otherwise, for babies, be sure to include: formula/breast milk pouches, nappy rash cream, dummies, bottles and teats, comfort toy or blanket, sun hat, three spare outfits, spare socks, a jumper and a plastic bag for wet clothes.
For toddlers and preschool or kindergarten aged children, start with: Spare underwear, water bottle or sippy cup, sun hat, closed-toe shoes, two spare outfits, spare socks, a jumper and a plastic bag for wet clothes.
Plus anything else your individual child may need, such as medications or personal resources for additional needs children.
Yes, the children are provided with breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack
Alternative food will be offered to your child when possible. Families can supply food if there are specific requirements.
When you arrive at our childcare centre, sign your child in and be sure to greet their educators warmly. If your child sees that you have a good relationship with them, they’ll be more likely to trust them too.
It can be difficult to leave if your child is upset. Rest assured our educators will soothe your child and engage them in entertaining activities to help them settle in.
